Hello! I’m Danut Muresan, also known as Dan. I started my musical adventure in Romania, picking up the violin at just four years old. What's really cool is I was born with perfect pitch, which means I can identify notes just by hearing them—kind of like having a musical superpower!

Later on, I moved to the USA to study music at Lynn University in Florida. That's where I got my Master's degree in Violin Performance. I didn't stop at just classical music; I also learned to play jazz, pop, and rock tunes on my violin. I've had the cool opportunity to perform alongside famous musicians like Andrea Bocelli and Gloria Estefan, and with groups like Mannheim Steamroller and Johnny Mathis Orchestra.

I'm the founder of Sunset Strings, a group of musicians who love mixing different kinds of music together. We play everything from classical pieces to modern hits. I'm passionate about teaching others how to play the violin too, showing them that music can be fun and expressive.

I'm proud to be a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) and the Violin Society of America. These organizations are all about supporting musicians and sharing the love of music.

Music is a big part of my life, and I love sharing it with others. Whether you're hearing it for the first time or you're a long-time fan, I hope my music brings you joy.
